Meet Damia

Hi, My name is MaryAnne, though most know me as Damia.  My hubby Afra comes in occasionally to do a quick flirt. I have two children my son who is 24 and my daughter who is 19.  I also have a 5 year old grandson who lives with me.

We have lived in many different cities and states and for now we are in St. Louis, Missouri.  For how long?  Well, who knows? No matter where we are, we seem to find something new and joyous to explore.

I have been quilting for about 28 years and I still consider myself a beginner.  There is so much to learn and to experience and fabric to feel.  I practiced some serious stash reduction a few years back but my stash is considerably larger again.  I have been part of the QuiltChat family for many years. I don't even know how many.  I do know one thing and that is that I hope our family will continue for many more.

I love to cook and preserve foods and I seem to be pretty good at it. I also love to read and I am trying to remember that I loved to walk. I have written for the guild newsletter for years and now I am the co-editor for our new channel newsletter.
