I have been quilting for about 4 years and stashing for 13. I have books, patterns and fabrics enough to make as many quilts as time allows before I die. My first ever quilting attempt was a Radiant Star when I signed up for a class. After my teacher recovered when I told her I was a beginner, we struggled but finished with very little ripping.

I love machine piecing and appliqué. I seem to favor traditional patterns. Most of all I love fabrics, all kinds of fabrics. I have made most of my clothes most of my life so I do know how to sew. I have 4 quilts, mint condition, made for my mother-in-law between 1925-35 which she gave me before she died. I will cherish them always.

I'm a good cook, I love museums and gardening. I am a loyal friend and love animals.

In the picture at right, I'm standing in front of a wall storage kind of thing where I display most of my 700 fat quarters. I'm a happy girl. hehehehe
