I am 52, Single and I live at home with my wonderful Mom who is 91. Dad passed away 8 years ago and is sadly missed. At present, I am not employed but I have had a large variety of jobs through the years, including: Printer, Secretary and Gas station attendant. My last job was as a Medical Office Assistant.

I have had a variety of hobbies over the years but quilting is my passion and far outshines the interest I had in any of the others. I have been quilting for 8 years, and belong to two quilt guilds. The Willing Hands is an old fashioned quilting bee with a membership of about 30. The membership dues to this wonderful organization is 10 cents for a lifetime membership. All profits made by the Willing Hands are donated to local charities. Our oldest member is 102 and our youngest is about 5.

The Pennsylvania Quilters is the name of the large group and we have approximately. 250 members. This group also contributes to many charities in our local communities as well as making quilts for area hospitals. We have a program geared to young members in our group to see that quilting is carried on by coming generations, we charge half price for young quilter's and include them in guild activities.
