MEET SWOOZE
~Suzette~
Hi! I am Suzette, or swooze in chat. I live in Mesquite, Texas which
is near Dallas. We have lived here since 1985, when we married.
We have two children, a boy and a girl. We have lots of fun together and
they do keep me busy. We also are rescue family and have three Australian
Shepherds and three Australian Shepherd mixed dogs as a result of those efforts.
I started quilting in 1989, after a trip home to visit my family. My mother took me to an aunt's house and they had just made an Eleanor Burns Quilt In A Day Log Cabin. I was hooked. Of course, having been a clothing sewer previously, I didn't read closely about doing 1/4" seams. Neither my mother's queen-sized quilt wasn't big enough nor was my double. But I love quilting. I would start quilting Friday night and by Sunday afternoon have a completed quilt. Raising a family has slowed that a bit.
I seem to be a stripper by nature. Although I have adventured into applique. Just please don't mention "chickens" to me. I sort of got off track on my quilting but have come back to it by hosting the UFO Hour on Sunday. Please check the schedule for the exact time
I work for AT&T as an IT manager, but still make time for chatting with you, my quilting family
