Freehold Tricentennial Quilt

The Freehold Township Tricentennial Quilt

This quilt was designed by me, using original artwork depicting scenes of Freehold history, and assembled and quilted by the Great American Quilt Machine (my quilting bee) for Freehold Township's Tricentennial Celebration. It is predominately hand appliqued and closely quilted throughout and now hangs in the Council Chambers of the Freehold Township Municipal Building in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It was one of the highlights of my career when I accompanied the quilt in the parade that brought it to the Courthouse to be presented to the town fathers.
