An Ugly Fabric Swap Challenge

Well Its time for a new challenge.   Pull out your Ugliest fabric and join on in!

Choose a 1/2  yard of your UGLIEST fabric from your stash ONLY!!    DO NOT PURCHASE NEW fabric!

You will  send this fabric  to the person after you on the list of registered challenge takers and the last person on the list will send to the first one.

You will have 2 weeks to get your fabric to the next person or you will be dropped from the challenge.

When you receive your ugly fabric you may add 3 fabrics to it make your project ( Only the your Ugly focus fabric is mailed.)  All finished creations are the sole property of their makers!

Finished projects  shall be minimum of 144 inches  perimeter and a max of 280 inches We must be able to see your focus fabric no ½ in sq. please! Please use at least a 2  inch square minimum.  (It dose not count if you use your ugly fabric as either the back or the binding.)

Can you make a silk purse from a sow’s ear?  We shall see!!!

Merrybee will need a  separate picture of your ugly focus fabric and with and a separate picture of  your completed project. These  must be sent to merrybee@epix.net no later than midnight, June 1, 2007.

That will give you approximately  3.5 months to complete your project after you receive your focus fabric.

Pictures will be posted on the web site and viewers will choose their favorite quilt!
